Hi, I’m Maddie - mum, midwife, and memory maker. I am so privileged to own each of these titles, and they are all integral to my identity. I picked up a camera after my daughter was born. She was newborn perfection, and I wanted every sweet memory recorded, printed, and framed, not just a blurry image on my phone. I discovered not only a deep passion for photography, but an innate talent which I have delighted in nurturing and developing.
I am a big music fan. I love throwing on my favourite record and being transported. Music is so powerful, I love how a piece of music can make you feel – you remember the people, the place, the scent, the feeling from long ago – and this is exactly what I hope my images do for you.
I am all about the mumma’s.
When I’m not looking after them as a midwife, or capturing them as a photographer, I am dancing in the kitchen with the little people who made me a mum.
